Support a TNR project

MC C³ assists cat caretakers with Trap-Neuter-Return projects throughout Montgomery County. We have only a few unpaid volunteers and limited funds to do this work in a county of a million people and five hundred square miles. A low-cost spay costs about $60 per cat. If we are assisting you with a TNR project and you wish to help with the costs, there are several ways to donate. Here is our PayPal link. IMPORTANT: Be sure to use Write a Note to say that you are donating for your TNR project:

Checks should be made payable to MC C³ and sent to P.O. Box 262, Spencerville, MD 20868-0262. If your donation is for a TNR project, note this fact on the check.

You are also welcome to make a donation to help with TNR throughout Montgomery County by either of the above methods. Again, please include a note that the donation is for TNR.

Feed a community cat for $20/month

A community cat has the best chance to lead a happy and healthy life if the cat is fed and watched daily by a caretaker. Feeding each feral costs about $20 a month. This adds up to hundreds of dollars per month to feed one or more colonies, which often have a dozen or more cats. In other words, many caretakers spend thousands of dollars of their own money each year. This is a  burden caretakers struggle to keep up with. Please consider helping by making a regular monthly donation to feed a colony cat.

While a number of Montgomery County caretakers are helped significantly by the MC C³ food bank, our food distributions currently are not enough to feed every cat every day, and caretakers are still hit hard by the expense.

Our PayPal donations page allows you to check a box for monthly donations. Every $20 that you can give monthly will feed one community cat. Of course, any amount will help and is welcome, and we are also grateful for one-time donations! Click the button below to donate. Be sure to say food bank in the Write a Note portion of the PayPal form:

Medical fund

Please donate to support Montgomery County Community Cat Coalition’s Medical Fund for community cats. This fund is designed to help cats like Fritz, here.

A colony cat that was helped by the MC C3 Medical Fund.

Fritz is from a colony in Montgomery County, MD. He was TNRed a few years ago and was being fed daily. He began to have difficulty eating and was taken to Spay Now for successful treatment. The funds for this vetting were provided via a donation to the MC C³ Medical Fund in memory of M. J. Jaffee.

Please help provide urgent medical care to community cats via our Medical Fund by donating through our donate button (found above or on each page). Be sure to use the “Note” space to designate your donation for the Medical Fund. You may also use our contact form to arrange a donation.
